The Haycock Elementary School Parent Teacher Association will be holding our 3rd Silent Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, March, 25, 2017 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Arlington, VA. Our school has a tradition of high student achievement, dedicated staff, a very active and supportive parent community, and a true belief that “It Takes a Village” to raise our children. With that in mind, we are reaching out to businesses and individuals in the community to help us make this our best auction yet!
We are very proud of our school and want to ensure that Haycock continues cultivating students to be prepared for the 21st century. This is becoming increasingly difficult to do given Fairfax County’s shrinking budgets and increasing class sizes. Having just completed a two year renovation, the first renovation in our 60 year history, we are now – more than ever – in need of additional funds to make the most of our new spaces. We are working with the administration to add outdoor classroom spaces (including a pollinator garden!), develop the school grounds into a premier wildlife habitat, and continue to improve our science and technology resources.
The auction is an excellent opportunity for you to connect with 650+ families in Falls Church and McLean. As a donor, you will be recognized on Haycock’s auction website and in the Auction Catalog. You will also generate buzz among auction attendees, gain the affinity and loyalty from the winner of your item(s), and receive positive word-of-mouth after the event.
